It is not likely that you, by yourself, could run across the United States. But you can help your group or your class do this by adding all of your mileage together. Think how exciting it will be to see how far you and your friends can run during the year. Your coach or teacher can record your miles and then enter your miles on the internet. As a group, you can see how far you have run and explore cities and interesting places you run through by clicking onto links as you travel across the United States.
Not only will it be fun but you'll learn about all the cities and places you run by. It is a huge country and you will have to accumulate 3,220 miles to run from Monterey County all the way across the country to Boston, Massachusetts. If you do that then you can try to run back by another route - but still it's another 3,220 miles!
