Pre-registration for the November 14th 3K is currented ended. Registration will resume on Friday, November 13th at the Expo from noon to 5:30 PM and on race day at Bubba Gump beginning at 6:30 AM.

ENTRY FEE	$5.00 for children ages 5 through 17 $20.00 for adults ages 18 and over
START TIME	8:00 a.m. for the November 13, 2010 race 8:00 a.m. for the April 24, 2010 race

DATES	Saturday, November 13, 2010 for the fall event Saturday, April 24, 2010 for the spring event
START LOCATION	November event starts and finishes in front of Bubba Gump Shrimp Company on Cannery Row in Monterey April event starts and finishes at Lover's Point Park in Pacific Grove
LIMITS	Must be five years of age or older and in good health to participate. This is a non-competitive fun run and is not timed.
3K SCHOOLS' COMPETITION	The 3K Schools' Competition is held in conjunction with the April race. If you are participating in the Schools' Competion DO NOT register online; you must sign up through your school coordinator. The turn-in for the Schools' Competion is in March. After the turn-in day has passed, we invite you to register for the open 3K; you can still enjoy race day and run with your schoolmates and friends, but your entry won't count towards school credit.
REGISTRATION	Online registration for the 3K is provided by Active.com You may register online via the registration link (unless participating in the April Schools' Competition). To register online for the November event, click HERE. Registration for the April event opens September 1st. There will be race morning registration from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM near the event start.
COURSE	The November 3K starts at Bubba Gump and the kids head west and turn onto Oceanview Blvd. in Pacific Grove. They continue to Lover's Point where they make a U-turn and return to Bubba Gomp on the Monterey Bay Recreation Trail The April 3K (1.8 miles) begins at Lover's Point in Pacific Grove and heads east on Oceanview Blvd. to Eardley Avenue where runners make a U-turn and return to Lover's Point on the Rec Trail. If participants have chosen the 1.5K option (.9 miles), they will make the U-turn at Berwick Park.

PACKET PICK-UP	Registered participants may pick up their bib, event shirt and Aquarium pass at the Health & Fitness Expo on the Friday before the event. Hours are noon to 6:00 PM. The Expo is located in the Monterey Conference Center next to the Portola Hotel & Spa in downtown Monterey. There is also race morning pick-up beginning at 6:30 AM near the start of the 3K.
EVENT INFO	All participants receive a unique aquatic themed t-shirt and a finisher's medallion. Following the April event there will be activities and demonstrations at the finish that are fun and fitness related. There will also be a random drawing with lots of exciting prizes for the kids (must be present to win).
