ENTRY FEE	$5.00 for children ages 5 through 17 $20.00 for adults ages 18 and over
START TIME	9:30 a.m. for the November 19, 2011 race 8:00 a.m. for the April 28, 2012 race

DATES	Saturday, November 19, 2011 for the fall event Saturday, April 28, 2012 for the spring event
START LOCATION	November event starts at Lighthouse and Forest Avenues in downtown Pacific Grove and ends at Lover's Point Park. From there it is a short walk to Jewell Park (via Forest or Grand Avenues), where post-race festivities will take place. April event starts and finishes at Lover's Point Park in Pacific Grove
LIMITS	Must be five years of age or older and in good health to participate. This is a non-competitive fun run and is not timed.
3K SCHOOLS' COMPETITION	The 3K Schools' Competition is held in conjunction with the April race. If you are participating in the Schools' Competion DO NOT register online; you must sign up through your school coordinator. The turn-in for the Schools' Competion is in March. After the turn-in day has passed, we invite you to register for the open 3K; you can still enjoy race day and run with your schoolmates and friends, but your entry won't count towards school credit.
REGISTRATION	Online registration for the 3K is provided by Active.com You may register online via the registration link (unless participating in the April Schools' Competition). To register online for the November event, click HERE. There will be race morning registration from 7:30 AM to 9:15 AM at Jewell Park. To register online for the April event (except for the Schools' Competition), click HERE. There will be race morning registration at Lover's Point Park beginning at 6:30 AM.
COURSE	The November 3K begins in downtown Pacific Grove on Lighthouse Avenue at Forest. It heads west and makes a turn at the Pacific Grove Post Office and then continues to Lover's Point. From there runners hug the coastline out to Beach Street where they make a u-turn and then return to the finish at Lover's Point. From there it is a short walk back to Jewell Park (via Forest or Grand Avenues) where post-race festivities will take place. To view the 3K course map click HERE. The April 3K (approximately 1.8 miles) begins at Lover's Point in Pacific Grove and heads east on Oceanview Blvd. to Eardley Avenue where runners make a U-turn and return to Lover's Point on the Rec Trail. If participants have chosen the 1.5K option (.9 miles), they will make the U-turn at Berwick Park.

PACKET PICK-UP	Registered participants may pick up their bib and event shirt at the Health & Fitness Expo on the Friday before the event. Hours are noon to 6:00 PM. The Expo is located in the Monterey Conference Center next to the Portola Hotel & Spa in downtown Monterey. There is also race morning pick-up beginning at 6:30 AM in Lover's Point Park for the April 3K or in Jewell Park for the November 3K.
EVENT INFO	All participants receive a unique aquatic themed t-shirt and a finisher's medallion. Following the April event there will be activities and demonstrations at the finish that are fun and fitness related.
