The Information We Collect We may collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you visit many of our web pages such as the type of browser you are using (e.g., Netscape, Internet Explorer), the type of operating system you are using, (e.g., Windows '95 or Mac OS) and the domain name of your Internet service provider (e.g., America Online, Earthlink), and what pages you visit on our site. How We Use the Information We may use the information you provide about yourself to fulfill your requests for our products, programs, and services, to respond to your inquiries about our programs. We sometimes use the non-personally identifiable information that we collect to improve the design and content of our site and to enable us to personalize your Internet experience. We also may use this information in the aggregate to analyze site usage, as well as to offer you products, programs, or services. If you are an administrator for a School or Group, we collect the name of the organization, address, phone number, your name, and your email address to provide us with contact information. The directory information provided about your group or organization WILL be published on the Internet as part of the information about that school, and a link will be provided to allow interested parties to contact you. Your email address will NOT be disclosed to any third parties and will NOT be published on the Internet. For children participating in the Just Run program, we collect their first name, last name, and a self-created "nickname." Only the nickname will be published on the Internet. We also collect the child's parent first and last name, and the date they signed the permission form for their child to partipate in the JustRun program. The names are stored in an encrypted form in our database, and are NOT published on the Internet. Although we take appropriate measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that personally identifiable information that we collect will never be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Notice. Cookies & Web Beacons To enhance your experience with our sites, many of our web pages use "cookies." Cookies are text files we place in your computer's browser to store your preferences. Cookies, by themselves, do not tell us your e-mail address or other personally identifiable information.
